Position Summary: This position is responsible for performing a variety of skilled duties to support the greater team. The majority of the time will be spent performing CDL duties.  When not driving, this position may be required to assist in the warehouse and on docks picking/loading/stacking products and loading/unloading trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

CDL Duties:

  • Transport product for Interstate and intra-city loads
  • Assist with loading/unloading as needed
  • Perform required paperwork

Dock Duties:

  • Move product as required per order sheets
  • Build and wrap pallets
  • Tag pallets as directed by Production and Quality Assurance
  • Notify Production and Quality Assurance of any quality issues

Miscellaneous Plant Duties:

  • Load/unload trailers as needed
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Drive straight truck as needed

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Lifting up to 45 pounds
  • Occasional squatting
  • Comfortable working in hot and cold temperatures
  • Ability to work in alternating sitting and standing positions
  • Ability to comply with all safety requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices

Personal Attributes:

  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Must be able to follow work instructions and complete all tasks in a safe manner
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team oriented

Skills and Technical Expertise:

  • Class A CDL license

Preferred Experience:

  • High school diploma or its equivalency
  • Forklift experience.
  • 5 years of relevant experience

Relocation:  N/A

Travel Requirements: Midwest Regional Travel.
